MSK is committed to developing the next generation of cancer leaders through competitive fellowships and other training programs for physicians, nurses, postdoctoral investigators, and graduate students, and aspiring researchers in college and high school.

Thanks to The MSK Campaign, MSK’s Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences launched the Pat and Ian Cook Doctoral Program in Cancer Engineering and enrolled its inaugural class of students in July 2024.

Training in data science
The Henry and Alexia Fernandez Computational Oncology Fellowship supports a three-year postdoctoral position for scientists from historically underrepresented groups. Funding has been provided by donors Henry and Alexia Fernandez.
Launching research careers
Established in 2021, the Andrew Sabin Family Endowment and Initiative in Cancer Prevention at MSK provides support to young scientists with the goal of advancing environmental science as well as cancer research.
